We are looking for talents to join our company for six months as of Q3 2026 on a full-time basis.

Montana Capital Partners AG is a global secondaries investment firm specializing in mid‑market transactions, overseeing USD 5 billion in AuM across six funds. 

MCP is a secondaries private equity specialist with a focus on the buyout mid-market. As part of PGIM, the USD 1.5 trillion asset management business of Prudential Financial, Inc. (NYSE: PRU), MCP leverages an extensive sourcing network across Western Europe and North America to originate and execute customized LP partnership and fund‑of‑fund transactions, as well as GP‑led solutions in the lower mid‑market. 

Based in Baar, Switzerland, and with an office in New York, United States, our approach involves systematically sourcing and assessing a wide array of global opportunities, selecting the most promising through data-driven analysis.

Your Profile

Your tasks
This internship offers an attractive opportunity to work in the investment team of MCP focused on LP-led and GP-led secondary market transactions. Tasks will include:
  • Evaluation of LP-led investment opportunities and GP-led continuation vehicles 
  • Analysis of underlying companies and evaluation of their return and risk potential including supporting through the entire transaction cycle
  • Performance of quantitative analysis on fund managers’ investment performance, assistance in preparing written investment recommendations and risk management analysis
 Your profile:
  • 2nd half of Bachelor studies (undergraduate) or enrolled in Master studies: Economics, Accounting, Business or Finance preferred, and backgrounds like Mathematics or Engineering for candidates with strong business acumen
  • Experience in solving quantitative problems. Results oriented, well organized and work with high attention to detail
  • A team-player: Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and being involved in the entire investment process, high motivation and personal initiative
  • Previous internship experience, ideally in the investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory, financial sector or management consulting
  • Strong written and verbal communication in English
